David joined the THL team on 1st September 2007 bringing his wealth of experience, and endless patience! He has been a rigger for twenty years and enjoys working as part of the THL team ‘doing hands on work out in the open’. He has worked with The Boathouse in Falmouth for the last year and before that he worked at Plymouth Allspars. David says “I’m really enjoying being part of a busy, successful team who are at the top of their game.”

David (DB) has become well respected by Pendennis Shipyard’s project managers and just ‘gets on with the job until it’s done’ (Daniel Tregaskes PSY project manager).   He is a stalwart of the THL team in Pendennis and his knowledge of the yard and how it works is second to none, enabling the THL team to work there very efficiently and effectively.  He works in the yard on all THL projects but notably in 2008 Chalatan, Tenaz and Velsheda where he was responsible for the unsteppinf and stepping preparation and all disassembly.  The assembly and service of all the rigging, mast, boom, hydraulic parts and much, much more...
