You may remember that Malcolm has worked with the THL team already and we are pleased to say that he is now a permanent fixture. Malcolm joins THL as Operations Manager with overall responsibility for the smooth and efficient running of all our projects. He brings with him prodigious management skills (coming from Sunseeker’s management team) and he will ensure that all projects, no matter how large or small, run as smoothly as possible. No mean feat when working with teams of riggers!
Malcolm is no stranger to the Superyacht world, having sailed internationally and skipper yachts for over thirty years. He has been boating for 38 years. His first “position” was Captain of Sailing at school in Australia after which he went to College in Southampton to study Boatyard Management. In the 80’s he worked on the building of, and raced on, all manner of yachts: primarily One Tonners and Maxis. He then moved on to private cruising yachts as a Captain and progressed to project management when his children were born. He has overseen new builds and re-fits too numerous to mention, as well as overseeing a new marina / boatyard / yacht club project in the Far East in the
early 90’s.
You will see that Malcolm is the missing cog in the THL wheel – we are now complete!
