Tom, like Tim would rather be sailing than walking. He joined the THL team as an experienced sailor in 2007, and has quickly become a proficient rigger excelling in splicing and general maintenance work. He enjoys sailing the superyacht circuit and says he is very lucky to have found a career which incorporates his hobby.

Updating from above, Tom Napper is  a valuable member of THL having project managed a number of refits  for the company in the last year (2008), most notably,  s/y Andromeda, total refit, s/y Piropo IV full disassembly and NDT rod service, s/y Is a Rose, total refit, S/Y Parsifal III, inspection and tune, s/y Ohana, inspection and pin replacement, s/y La Numero Uno, inspection. Tom has also worked alongside the Future Fibres team retrofitting their PBO rigging and has built a good knowledge base of the product and its capabilities. With all thisTom has still been able to enjoy seatrials and deliveries as well as racing on Classics such as the beautiful s/y Lulworth: it is true to say he has a natural understanding of rigs and rigging. Tom is very easy to have around and captains are happy for him to be responsible for their yacht’s future rigging requirements.
